Book Introduction

After my last book 52 titled All My MAS Books! www.createspace.com/6306051 and the last book on the series Between Us Only! titled Wipe My Tears! www.createspace.com/4304972 – I became very sick and was admitted in Royal Hospital in Oman from November 2015 to January 2016 when I was operated for Prostate Operation – thankfully malign!

I lapsed into a Coma State in ICU – Intensive Care Unit EER – in December 2015 and was there for more than a month!

Unknown to me at the time, there was a Court case placed against me by One International Home Bank against my defunct Consultancy – Management & Marketing Development Consultancy – MMDC – which had collapsed and gone bankrupt in January 2001 – that is 15 years ago – and still being followed and being traumatized to date!

The TRUTH be told also –

SIMPLY NO ONE had contacted me from the Bank or from anyone else!  For Plus 12 years!

Today I have LOST MY PERSONAL FREEDOM and Civil Status too – sadly to the Most Committed Loyal True Feeling Sincere Citizen and National. My GMC Yukon they refused to renew The Mulkiya which expired since April 2016.

I am just paying The PDCs and if I do not another issue will arise. This Bank has billions to offer Big Cmpanies but they still go to Retired Omani Pensioners with a vengeance drawing blod from stone! Al Hamdu Lillah!

Oman & The World Please Note!

Nothing has changed much in Oman despite all my writings in my columns and books – the columns that ran for more than 15 years before being targeted and killed off in 2013 – on a technicality – but frankly I think more on their designs policing to subdue people speaking The Truth! The games of The Mafias usually run and led by sadly our Indian friends dominating The Media in Oman – and tragically more by our own Omanis – The Old Guards!

The articles in this book are mainly centred on the above aspects as now being denied the public route through my Oman Daily Observer in my columns Between Us Only! and At My Workplace!

I decided to add this book 53 to my series of books – with due apologies to The Reader that the emphasis and concentration in this book was what was happening to me at the time – and to compile the subjects topics under this book 53 – That Is The way It Is!

When people cannot expect justice because you have No Wastah or with being famous and rich – then writing to your own heart and conscience is the only way left!

Al Hamdu Lillah! Hasbiya Allah Wa Naymat Wa Kyll!

Prophet Nabii Daud David RA Sura Sad 22 – 26.

  1. We made his kingdom strong and gave him Al-Hikmah (Prophethood, etc.) and sound judgement in speech and decision.21. And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room,).22. When they entered in upon Dawud (David), he was terrified of them, they said: “Fear not! (We are) two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other, therefore judge between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, and guide us to the Right Way.23. Verily, this my brother (in religion) has ninety nine ewes, while I have (only) one ewe, and he says: “Hand it over to me, and he overpowered me in speech.”24. [Dawud (David)] said (immediately without listening to the opponent): “He has wronged you in demanding your ewe in addition to his ewes. And, verily, many partners oppress one another, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and they are few.” And Dawud (David) guessed that We have tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allah) in repentance.25. So We forgave him that, and verily, for him is a near access to Us, and a good place of (final) return (Paradise).26. O Dawud (David)! Verily! We have placed you as a successor on earth, so judge you between men in truth (and justice) and follow not your desire for it will mislead you from the Path of Allah. Verily! Those who wander astray from the Path of Allah (shall) have a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning.Surah Sad – Nabii Daud RA The Holy Quran

About The Book!

This book 53nd is The Sequel to my earlier 52 books to date!

After my last book, I was admitted in Royal Hospital for a Prostate operation that ended me falling into a coma state in ICU – Intensive Care Unit – EER – for almost a month! See B – The Prophet’s Dream!

The book ontains all the articles and topics that I had posted in My Websites Blogs and The Social Media since the 52nd book.

The book can also stand on its own to describe all my 52 books to date! 6 books on Arab Management, 3 on Road Safety, 6 on My Autobiography (The Story of My Life!) – 12 on my Columns Writings ‘Between Us Only!’ and ‘At My Workplace!’ and the rest on assorted topics!

  • It is hard to beat a person who never gives up! – Babe Ruth
  • Writing is the only profession where no one considers you ridiculous if you make no money! – Jules Renard

The book is a bird’s eye view on all about all my books and from all my varied articles to date! The books produced here are in main part linked to me as Majid aka as Magic – Magic Man as the pseudonym I used in ‘The Forums’! Also interestingly the article – Why Do They Call You Magic? Also Who Is Majid? And My Epitaph! The articles are also about My Family and My Late Parents – Peace Be Upon Them!

I hope you will like reading about me!

People were always asking me – Why don’t you write a book about yourself and all your books as at one stop centre? The story of your life? All about your books! So people can remember you and your works – and as a Memory and Record for all your works to date!

I then decided to accept the challenge and write this book. Like the other books – I have tried to be as factual as possible – and with my usual style of writing of speaking to you directly from my heart – and to be as sincere, genuine, frank, forthright as possible – so that this book can not only be used in Research works – but as a Guide and Beacon for the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren – and future generations by the Grace of Allah God – Ameen Amen.

Prophetic Supplications for Trials

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The supplication of my brother Dhun Nun (Yunus, peace be upon him), who called on Allah while in the whale’s belly: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers’ (Quran 21:87) – no Muslim person says it, for any situation whatsoever, except that Allah Most High answers his call.” [Tirmidhi]

What are you Thankful for in Life? 1

Being Thankful In Life!

What are you Thankful for in Life?

A        Thanksgiving Day! Thanks for the Blessings!

It is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States on the fourth Thursday of November. This time it fell on November 24 2016.

It was originally celebrated as a day of giving thanks by Native Americans for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. The Pilgrims copied it and made it as their own!

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.

Setting aside time to give thanks for one’s blessings, along with holding feasts to celebrate a harvest, are both practices that long predate the European settlement of North America.

The event that Americans commonly call the “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621. This feast lasted for three days, and—as accounted by attendee Edward Winslow — it was attended by 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims. The New England Colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating “Thanksgivings” — days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought.

B        Being Thankful In Life!

If you ask me – and truthfully, honestly, frankly and sincerely, I am thankful for a lot of things in life! Although I would want some things now more than ever before – like on my personal life and on my health – I am thankful to have –

·       My family and relatives – my children and the grandchildren!

·       The few friends I have!

  • Being a True Muslim to my best of my abilities and following My Religion as best as I Can!
  • And in trying to be near Allah SWT God Almighty as much as I can!

·       A roof over my head even if it is a very old house needing much repairs and renovation!

·       Can now walk on my own without assistance like before!

·       The little things I have – even if I wished for more – but I remind myself that there are others far behind me and who would be ready anytime to change places with me!

·       Getting my Pension Salary regularly from PDO – even though I would have wanted it to be more – because every month struggling to make ends meet – like all people – especially Pensioners now!

·       Living in a peaceful stable secure place – after seeing all the things that are going wrong all around us now!

·       My books I have published – which will keep my name going long after I am gone!

·       And so many other things and aspects!

But truthfully, honestly, frankly and sincerely! I will not want to change myself with anyone! I am happy I came out as Majid (Arabic for Glory!) that I am now!

If I have my life all over again – I want again to be me! The same and only Majid Said Nasser Al Suleimany! Because I know deep in myself that I do care and feel for people! I am full of understanding, empathy, and kindness and caring! I do not want to hurt or pain anyway. I am I!

I always try to help people as best as I can – and if I cannot will say so politely kindly and emphatically – but I will not lie or tell lies – or say wrong (unkind) things!

If I have made a mistake or error of judgement – I am ready to forgive and forget! Those who hurt and pain me – whether purposefully or unknowingly inadvertently – I will tell them frankly! I will not keep it bottled in – and suffering in silence! I know this part is what makes me unpopular and being resented by others!

I will not want to change myself to anyone other – even if far Richer, Famous and or Powerful! Majid will be Majid always – under Allah SWT God Almighty Grace and Blessings! Ameen Amen

I try hard to avoid conflict and fights – and after 3 or 4 point outs – and still people after me – I come in charging! Like in a bull! Would I want to change this trait and habit – and suffer in silence? The answer is emphatically NO!

This is Me – and This is what I am! Will be till end of time! Majid will remain as Majid!

C        My Epitaph!

Majid Epitaph (Legacy) – I Want to be Remembered!

A long time ago as a kid, I used to hear people talk about death and how they will go! I always wondered out aloud how I would go – if my turn came up next!

I always prayed that I would go sudden and people surprised he went away that fast! But I never want to cause trouble and inconveniences to others before I die – if I was to choose these things! But it is all in God Allah hands!

Anyway, I had this dream of ‘dying by starvation’ – I do not know what it meant! Was it going to be real as in the dream – or as a metaphor like liking to eat too much and getting fatter by day – and as now being diabetic case?

Or would it be like my late Father PBUH where he wanted food and water but was denied by The Doctors (they were using instead drips!) – because they needed to operate on his stomach – because there was a blockage in his small intestines – and till after the operation could be given food!

Anyway only God Allah SWT Knows these things best!

Sorry for a morbid subject!

Here lies a person who in all his life had acted and stood up for the rights of others – and to whatever extent and even harm and injury and damage to himself personally – and he went down that way!

Always wanting to do good things and help others as much as one could.

If he could not, he would be Truthful and offer instead kind words and support – and or offer advices to his best level always!

Where he could change things himself he did – otherwise he spoke out for Change. Always wanted to be fair, just, professional, principled, correct and ethical in all things he did.

He wants to be remembered that way only!

Please Pray for Him – when they tell you he is gone!

When People Cannot Express On Their True Inner Feelings!

When People Cannot Express On Their True Inner Feelings!

Several decades ago – when I was still working in Human Resources, I decided to make a Staff Morale Satisfaction Survey (Climate Survey) and Customers Satisfaction Survey!

It was Anonymous in approach and nature in seeing that many people were sort of afraid to be ‘associated linked’ with their due process feedback and inputs!

We had a tough time even then to make our Staff take the Survey because of unfortunately of a climate and culture of fear existing then in the Company after more Omanis came into top positions from previously Expatriates!

This is what I had said in my books (Arab Management) that many Omanis have felt more comfortable under Expatriate Management – especially in aspects of ‘freedom of expression’ aspects etc. that one could speak his mind what is troubling him or his issues at work without fear of (further) recriminations or and punishments per se!

After Early Retirement – on behalf of a Client – I did a similar study for one Public High Profile Company – but this time it was more ‘face to face’ with a set of questions – both in English and Arabic – given in advance before the Interview face to face!

The Focal Point in the Company wanted me to give him specific details on what some people were saying to Management! I refused to participate in this exercise – and we were dropped off from the exercise!

The GM – a nice kind Omani – called me and in front of The Management Team and Human Resources – HR – told them ‘Not to interfere’ in the works of the Consultant – and let him do his work freely, independently without coercion or interference – and maintain the Company Ethics, Principles and Professionalism!

Unfortunately, the Owner of The Consultancy and even some of my Assistants wanted me to give the HR People full names of who said what and when – instead of me giving feedback on ‘general feelings and issues raised in the Survey – and any particular specific issues per Departments and Locations instead of giving Individual Feedback – and who said what! There was also a Corporate Social Culture of Fear and Reprisals cum Follow Ups.

There were many who were afraid to say ‘what they really felt’ because of The Corporate Culture of ‘fears of reprisals, punishments, follow-ups and remembering’ – and many skeptical that ‘here comes another Consultant after some years and nothing has changed much from the last visit scenarios!

I had a tough time to make Staff convinced and feel relaxed that their names will not be associated with their inputs and feedbacks per person ‘what he or she actually had said’ in fear of recriminations and reprisals!

This brings me now how The USA Polls got it all wrong!

Simply that when the Polls had asked people whom they would vote for – people who were really for Trump were afraid of being identified as such – because of Media Censure, Bias, Pressure and Favouritism for Hillary Clinton opposite to Donald Trump! Also the fact that if one said he or she would vote for Trump – there were a lot of ‘surprise’ and a lot of questions asked Why?

But if one opted for Hillary Clinton – there were fewer questions and pressures being applied – because the answer was ‘Norm and Acceptable’! People were not expressing The Truth inner feelings as to whom they would really vote for – and went the easy comfortable way of giving wrong false information per se!

Another Message Received! (USA Elections – Brexit)!

That people are concerned about their jobs – job security – jobs for The Youth – as to the large number of sort of ‘Foreigners’ in the country and Small Industries survival ‘as most hit’ in The Recession and The Economy Downturn!

I have talked a lot of the above issues too in My Books!

Especially Arab Management Books!

People are very angry and fuming all inside – suffering in pained silence! Because if they dare t speak what is in their heats and minds – they may suffer or end in troubles! That is Level Three in Faith Imaan.

It is time that people do pay more attention to My Books – and People Do Read them at least!

Especially Those in Leadership Roles – and University College Students to expose them to the other side of coin (views)! To Be Better and Well Informed!

Majid Epitaph (Legacy) – I want to be remembered!

We all have to die one day! Only Allah God is the exception! Jesus Christ Our Great Prophet Issa bin Mariam – will come as The Saviour – and he too will die without exception! So whom I?

A long time ago as a kid, I used to hear people talk about death and how they will go! I always wondered out aloud how I would go – if my turn came up next!

A person who was always sincere, genuine and honest – frank, open and forthright who always looked at The Bigger Picture – and never wanted things to go wrong as his main focus and theme in life! Even though many of his efforts were never acknowledged, accepted, recognised and realized – and he became a victim himself in his life, career, and future and with his family too!

He wants to be remembered that way only! Goodbye! Ma Salamaah!

Please Pray for Him – when they tell you he is gone!

Justice In Islam!

Justice

When I was studying in Secondary School in Tanzania in the early 1960s – they were introducing Socialism as a Compulsory Subject for all the students. If you failed in the subject you just did not get your Secondary School Leaving Certificate! It was as simple as that!

In one of the topics they were preaching of how Law and Order was being broken up by ‘the enemies of The State’ by mocking and making fun (trifling!) the State Institutions – especially those involved in keeping ‘the Safety and the Security’ of The State apparatus!

Once ‘they’ have done that – that is the The Enemies – the rest becomes easy!

In one of the famous phrases by Mao – The then China Communist Leader – was ‘Peace comes from the barrel of the gun’!  It scared me to bits and pieces!

They even talked about one Being The Judge, Jury and Executioner Stuff etc!

As we watch around us things going wrong all around us it is important that we remain ever vigilant and alert of Protecting and Preserving our beloved Nation. It is noted that we Omanis are loyal, trusting respecting and welcoming peoples – and some may even label us as being ‘weak and docile’ for that matter!

I feel, therefore, that it is important to REMIND OURSELVES of sense of Fairness, Justice in Islam – lest we deviate – whether inadvertently or by default even.

***

Justice In Islam!

Allah God spoke to His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in this manner:

“O My slaves, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and forbade it also for you.  So avoid being unjust to one another.” (Saheeh Muslim)

Thus, justice represents moral rectitude and fairness, since it means things should be where they belong.

The Importance of Justice

The Quran, the sacred scripture of Islam, considers justice to be a supreme virtue.  It is a basic objective of Islam to the degree that it stands next in order of priority to belief in God’s exclusive right to worship (Tawheed) and the truth of Muhammad’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prophethood.  God declares in the Quran:

“God commands justice and fair dealing…” (Quran 16:90)

Prophet Muhammad underscored the importance of rulers being just in one of his famous sayings.

“There are seven categories of people whom Allah will shelter under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His. (One will be) a just leader.” (Saheeh Muslim)

The Qur’an warns believers against subjective factors or personal emotions leading them to deviate from the path of justice, which is also the path of Islam, but it weighs heavily upon those who are required to adjudicate in disputes or to give judgment on other issues.

“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: That is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.” (Al-Maidah: 8)

Muslims are also called upon to rise above social evils such as nepotism and favoritism. Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an,

“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.” (Al-Nisa: 135)

One of the famous straits and characteristics that I had in my Career Life were that people could come to me in my Office at any time! In fact some even phoned me at home! Long time after I left some places – people still followed me!

I offered advices, counselling, coaching, mentoring and guidance for free – and charged no one!

  • People that are now very rich peoples with their several companies!
  • These are people that were not sure at the time if they should leave the Company and start their own businesses or not! I told them ‘to go out and try’ – and they can always come back to their old positions – if they did not make it out there! I gave them as a Personal Guarantee being in Human Resources!
  • People that are now General Managers, CEOs, MDs, The Top Guys!
  • Same as above!
  • Some that now that you have to use their titles before you address them in person!
  • Same as above!
  • Families that are now together because of my counselling advising etc. Some are VIPs and very rich peoples too!
  • People from Other Companies that have now too made it!
  • My mainly Arab Management Books now!       www.myownmajid.com Be The Safe Driver!
  • Even my Road Safety Books were targeted – even if the country has one of the Worst Records of Road Safety and Driving in Oman! But they were targeting all my books – in alone blow –thanks to The Mafias – and the Old Guards!
  • I was at one Company Management meeting – and became so down and all alone after a meeting!
  • The Management and ALL MY Peers did not support me in My Warning and Cautions on Omanisation, Youth Recruitment – and Training and Development! 😦
  • I came home so pissed out – and took it out on my youngest daughter who poor thing was just asking for a calculator for School – and my family turning against me!
  • That night the idea of running away for good – or suicide came into my mind!
  • Things I said about ‘are still happening to date!
  • But facts and events proved me right – even years later – when I said – several times – I told you so! But it all becomes empty and hollow – wasted time, efforts and energies!
  • With serious personal determents, consequences and repercussions on my Career Life – because I risked being forthright, frank and opinionated – and refused to ‘go with the tide! – ‘Not to rock the boat’ – refuse ‘to push the dirt under the carpet per se! Even if it already was smelling and reeking!
  • Everyone has conveniently forgotten me – some even consider me as nuisance and trouble!
  • Some of them even turned me flat when my Consultancy business was facing closure!
  • Let alone offering me Project works before when yet they knew well I was well qualified experienced HR Professional! 😦
  • When I applied for some of their jobs advertised – I was not called even for an interview!
  • What kind of people are these I ask you?
  • If being rich and famous is like this – I prefer to remain just okay and surviving!
  • Allah SWT God Really liked me not to change and be like them!
  • Alhamdu Lillah!
  • Something will give in – soon!Majid Al Suleimany!www.myownmajid.com Be The Safe Driver!www.bethesafedriver.com Oh yes! For The Cynics and Sceptics – You can stop to play the violin!

Frankly I am dead tired – being nice, kind, feeling and good-hearted now!

Something will give in – soon! Mark my words! Again! I said it before – Saying It A Final Time!

Goodbye – Please remember me in your Prayers – Ameen! Amen!
