Words of Wisdom to Shake (Test) The Heart (Faith) of A Believer!

This Is The Story!

One of the good people had his Mother die.

When they were sending her Mother for her funeral the man broke out crying deeply and profusely – with his whole body shaking breaking out in deep cries and sobs

People asked him – Why are you crying loud like this?

He replied with heavy words that will make one think deeply!

I am really sad and heartbroken that my Mother has died – the man said!

But what really makes me sadder is that Allah (God) Has now closed for me the one door to Heaven! (Cries more)

Subhanah Allah (God Is Great!)

  • He is crying because he knows now that he will not be able to do any more good deeds for his Mother’s sake!
  • He will not any longer be able to serve his Mother!
  • He will not any longer be able to make his Mother happy!
  • And all these deeds are what will take one to Jannah (Heaven)!

Today a person runs away from one’s parents (does not take care of one’s parents)!

If his parent sends him for an errand he runs away or is annoyed by this!

When his parent asks for a favour or some assistance in money – he is not concerned nor is bothered (pretends or give excuses he cannot help!)

 Remember also please!

That you are running away to go to Heaven but instead get to go to Hell instead!

Serve your Parent!

Feed Your Parent with your own hands!

Take Care of Your Parent!

Shelter your parent!

Show love attention and care for your parent!

Allah God Our Lord Creator will reciprocate in turn to give you blessings in addition to that from your parents (Ameen Amen).

And for those whose parents are already dead please make regular constant prayers (Dua) for them!

Do not worship anyone except Allah God Almighty!

Allah is the only God for us all!

And look after and do good kind compassionate things to your parents!

And when anyone of them reaches old age and is with you –

Do not reply back or say anything in anger or dismay to them!

Suratul Israa 23.

Talk to them with due patience, kindness care and understanding! Because one day your children will do the same to you what you do to your parents!

Things Fall Apart!

September 28, 2016

The above is a novel by late famed Nigerian Author Chinua Achebe RIP!

He visited Tanzania and came to our Aga Khan Secondary School in Dar es Salaam – Capital Commercial City of Tanzania! The book was part of the revised Literature syllabus from ex Colonial (sic!) books like of Shakespeare Darwin etc.! This was the aspiring New Socialist Government in control under President Nyerere then!

As we were in the Assembly Hall, Achebe asked us the Literature Students what we thought the book’s theme was in reality – according to each one’s perception and outlook!

So I walked up to the stage and on the microphone told him what I thought! Believe me but I am scared of Public Speaking especially in front of a large audience!

This is what I told The Great Author – decades back – and I was still in Secondary School!

The Theme of The Book!

thingsfall  chinua_achebe_caro_page-bg_24987

Image Book and Chinua Achebe!

It is about someone (Okonkwo – The Main Starring Actor!) who wants to change things on the ground in peaceful way and by talking and by persuasion – 2nd level faith in our Islam anyway! – and meeting a tragic end – he was hanged by The British Colonialists – who always preach about Democracy and Freedom of Speech even then! – Because ‘the times for Change were not in (ripe!) yet ready’!

One has to wait UNTIL the time to initiate and start Change only when the time was ripe and people WERE READY for The Change!

And not anyone on his own at least can spur or initiate Change on his own as all odds were against him! Only he will be hurt and be pained – ignored and marginalised – and as happened to him precipitating his own early ugly death!

Our Religion always says the same thing –

Allah SWT God Almighty never changes people UNLESS they are ready to change things within themselves first!

Achebe in front of my Headmaster and the students audience (over 250) took a long apprehensive tensing look at me – and told me …..!!

You know what? I wrote the book – but honest speaking I had NEVER thought of it that way – apart of the fact it was written and about when Nigeria was under Colonial rule!

I think you have a Great Future as an Author and Writer! You have really amazed (shocked) me to be honest with you!

He then hugged me and gave me a signed book! The book was later stolen from me by perhaps a jealous envious person – or people just determined to cause harm, disaster and Fitna!

If I ever meet Achebe in the future I will tell him more about me and my books! 🙂 http://www.majidalsuleimani.com

Sad and tragic though that people sacrifice or have to be sacrificed to Speak HONEST and FACTUAL like this!

What do you think???? Your views most welcome here!

Live Question on Huda TV on Being in Debt! Reply

Live Question on Huda TV on Being in Debt!

Even if they are related to my Company closing down in bankruptcy 15 years ago and still being hunted and pursued with Support from The System!

Sometimes I feel so weak and unhappy to wish I had died in ICU Coma State in Royal Hospital

Al Al Hamdu Lillah!

The Imam Dr. Mohamed Salah asked me if in Oman there are no Organisations NGOs etc. that help out to people in Debt like mine with no capacity to pay back… and if I can go to them? Anyway he said he will pray for me last 10 days of The Holy Month of Ramadhan and he asked Listeners to do the same for me!

Al Hamdu Lillah! See previous Postings also.

Pray for me please!!!

Recite:

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكْ

“O Allah, save me from haraam and make the halaal sufficient and by your

boon/favour make me independent from others”.

(Mishkat)

These words were spoken by Ali (R.A.) taught by Prophet Mohammad (SAW.) when a

person expressed a shortfall in his wealth to Ali (R.A.) he said: “Shall I not show you

what Prophet Mohammad (SAW) taught me, even if there is a debt equal to that of a

huge mountain then Allah will pay it”. Ali (R.A.) then recited the above Dua.

(Tirmidhi)

Another Dua for Payment of Debt
Abu Saeed Kudri (R.A.) narrates that once a person mentioned to Prophet

Mohammad (SAW.) that he was concerned about his major debts.

Prophet Mohammad (SAW.) replied “Shall I not

show you those words by saying which Allah will remove your concern and

pay your debts?”

The person asked “What is it, O Messenger of Allah?” Prophet Mohammad

(SAW.) told him to recite the following morning and evening:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ

 الْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ

“O Allah I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from

hopelessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from miserliness and cowardice

and I seek refuge in You from overwhelming debt and from the force of men”.

The person stated that he recited this dua and Allah removed all his worries and debts.

(Abu Dawood)

Sayed-ul-Istighfaar (The leader of the duas of forgiveness),

Shudaat bin Auwais Aas (R.A.) narrates that Prophet Mohammad (SAW.)

said that Sayed Istighfaar is:

“O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship besides You, You have

created me and I am Your servant, I am Your pact and promise, I seek refuge in

You to the best of my ability from my evil sins. I testify to Your favours and

to my sins, hence forgive me since there is no one else to forgive sins besides You”.

(Mishkat)

The person who recites this dua sincerely in the course of the day and night and

dies will be among the people of Jannah. (Bukhari)

Another one of my favourite Hadiths because it teaches us to get up and do something:

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (May Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say,

“Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]

And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.

And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.

UAE edges closer to Bankruptcy Law.

Quote – Japan, the world’s third-largest economy, has one of the highest number of elderly citizens on the planet.
Over the next 20 years, the number of people over the age of 75 is expected to make up 30 percent of the population. And that is having a big impact on the economy as well as society in general.
Some companies have already taken matters into their own hands and opted for hi-tech solutions to helping people work beyond retirement age.

And Japan is not the only country encouraging people to work beyond retirement age: Finland makes its population work until the age of 68 before they’re able to claim state pension; in Greece, people have to work until 67; and recently, young Germans were told they might have to work until they are 69 years old.

For the past decade, governments across the developing world have been cutting the pension bill by increasing the retirement age; that’s because people are living longer and birth rates are declining.

But how will this affect future generations? How old does one now need to be before they can stop working?

Coma Majid

Image I in Coma State ICU Royal Hospital!

A long time ago when our late Father was still alive, we took him for his due Medical (Parkinson) Appointment at Royal Hospital. My younger brother went to take a wheel chair and we both carried our Father over to the wheel chair from the car. As we were doing this, one elder person came over to congratulate us ‘for looking after your father’ – and he admitted he was jealous and envious to us because his son – a Senior Public Official as he told us! –   did not have the time for him! He had just dropped him at the Hospital – and asked him when he is ready to call him to fetch him or he will send someone to do so!

He asked us if we were working or had we retired? We told him that we were all still working but had taken the day off specifically to look after our Father. He told our Father – Elder Brother – You are a lucky man – and that you are blessed to have such sons with you! I noticed some tears from the man as he said this to us!

With the life styles nowadays, there are many Retirees and Pensioners suffering in silence and some alone in their own homes – or some staying with their children – but the children are so busy with making it in the ‘rat race’ and with financial burdens already to have time for their aged parents and elders! As a good friend of mine had foretold his own death by saying ‘you can be surrounded by people’ but still feel as the loneliest person on earth – or even die that way too with you alone in the house – and that is sadly how he went too!

It is an established fact that The Retirees and Pensioners have significantly contributed to the status of The Nation with what it is today with great sacrifices, loyalties, dedication and commitment. No one can deny them this – and doing so goes against all the teachings, ethics and principles of Life!

Unfortunately too, The Retirees Pensioners are currently the worst hit lot in the Economy now! Though I do not have generic statistics to back the aforementioned, but it is my guess too that those families with Youth that are still with no job or unemployable still also come close to this lot!

The Retirees Pensioners are bearing the worst in the current economic status quo – and especially Retirees and Pensioners that are in Big Debt still from loans past taken to pay from even 15 years ago!

I was watching this very interesting programme in Al Jazeera TV English – September 4, 2016. The Programme is entitled – Retirement industry: How old do you have to be before you can stop working?

Which just confirms what I have been saying all along here – about Pensioners Retirees (plus Families Youth still with no job or unemployable still) bearing the worst in current economic status quo – and especially Retirees and Pensioners that are in Big Debt still from loans past taken even 15 years ago!

Quote – Japan, the world’s third-largest economy, has one of the highest number of elderly citizens on the planet.

The Programme can be found here – http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/countingthecost/2016/09/australia-china-turning-page-160902140558460.html  – comes after – Australia and China: Turning the page

Unquote

In short the programme encourages people to work to a very late age because of their financial burdens and crisis that many of them face today in life! With reduced incomes – some to even just less than half of their incomes in the past now as their new incomes – with no added incomes like overtime or second jobs or part-time employment!

Even though many of them are well experienced seasoned Professionals and Experts – the preference is for less qualified experienced where the payment of salaries can be very much lower – but missing all those deliverables that can be strived from the elder lots!

The programme quotes statistics of ‘those going for Early Retirement and dying a few years later from the date of retirement as a normal cause of events.

In summary, there is need for Compassion, Consideration, Understanding and Sympathy for The Retirees and Pensioners – and especially from The State and from Banks ‘pursuing past loans’ due to the economic downturn now!

A good British friend HSE friend of mine tells me that in many cases of ‘fire victims’ is that people panicked and ran for the exits pushing away others – instead of normal exiting – and only to end at just about to exit place! We should not panic or cause panic and consternation now!

Economists actually believe in Image Retention – and that is the time to buy a new wardrobe – furniture – or even a new car!

May Allah SWT God The Almighty Guide us all to The Right Path and Way and away from His Anger, Fury and Wrath – Ameen Amen!

Take Care!

UAE edges closer to Bankruptcy Law!

Cabinet adopts legislation in bid to attract foreign investors

  • Cabinet adopts legislation in bid to attract foreign investors
  • Absence of law blamed for many fleeing U.A.E. in 2008 crisis

The United Arab Emirates’ cabinet adopted the final draft of a bankruptcy law that will help remove the threat of jail time for unpaid debt.

The law “aims to enhance foreign investment and ease the work of commercial companies,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the U.A.E.’s prime minister and Dubai’s ruler, said on Twitter on Sunday. The post included no details on the steps required for the law to go into effect. Federal laws in the U.A.E. usually need presidential approval.

The absence of a bankruptcy law was widely blamed for the flight of thousands of Dubai residents who lost jobs in the 2008 financial crisis. Faced with the possibility of jail time, many said they had no choice but to leave their cars and belongings after the economic slowdown left them unable to repay debts. Post-dated checks are the most common way to pay residential rent in the U.A.E., and the method is used to secure most debts.

“An effective bankruptcy law will help banks by encouraging them to restructure a bad loan without resorting to pursue criminal proceedings to resolve the bad loan,” said Sanyalak Manibhandu, an Abu Dhabi-based analyst at NBAD Securities LLC. “In the absence of a bankruptcy law, banks end up seeking justice in the criminal court, which has led borrowers to skip the country.”

The legislation is expected to be modeled on Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S., The National newspaper reported last September, citing the Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development. The U.S. system allows companies to renegotiate the terms of their debts with creditors.

U.A.E. Finance Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the law offers several options such as “financial reorganization and precautionary settlement,” the state-run WAM news agency reported
